Can I send my medical records directly to Zweena?

You may send copies of your medical records to Zweena. We will designate that they were received by you and upload them as with medical records from other sources. You will still need to send us an Authorization To Release Medical Records so we can continue to update your Zweena Health Record.

What happens if I move, change employers, insurance providers or my physician?

Because your Zweena Health Record (ZHR) belongs to you, it is independent of your employer or insurance provider. It will remain in your possession and with your direction can be adjusted to reflect any changes in your employment status, insurance carrier or healthcare providers.

What happens with the paper records that Zweena collects from my provider?

Zweena has a formal destruction policy that governs how the company handles the records collected from providers in all forms, not just paper. All records from providers are destroyed no less than 90 days and no more than 120 days after they have been uploaded and published in the Zweena system.

Can I choose to have my paper records sent to me rather than have them destroyed?

Yes. Once a member sees that the record has been published they can submit a written request within 14 days prior to the earliest potential date of destruction. These records will be mailed to the address contained in the member’s Zweena PHR. The member will be responsible for reasonable per-page, processing and shipping fees.
